Electrocoagulation is an effective therapeutic procedure used to remove superficial pathological lesions of the skin or mucous membranes.

The procedure is performed using high-frequency electric current, which causes tissue heating, protein coagulation, and ultimately localized destruction of the affected area.

The treated site becomes covered with a small scab, which naturally detaches from the skin within a few days or weeks, often leaving behind regenerated, healthy skin tissue.

Electrocoagulation acts selectively on pathological elements with minimal involvement of healthy tissue.

The procedure is painless or causes only minor discomfort and often does not require deep anesthesia – in many cases, a single intervention is sufficient to achieve the desired outcome.

It is noteworthy that electrocoagulation is widely used for both therapeutic and aesthetic purposes. It can be performed in both outpatient and clinical settings and does not require long-term recovery for the patient.
