Dr. Teona Kalmakhelidze – Ophthalmologist Dr. Teona Kalmakhelidze studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University from 1995 to 2002. She completed her residency in ophthalmology from 2003 to 2008. Throughout her career, Dr. Kalmakhelidze has actively participated in numerous conferences and training programs, both in Georgia and abroad, staying up to date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology. She has extensive experience as a practicing ophthalmologist and continues to provide care at Chichua’s Eye Clinic “Mzera.” In addition, she worked as an ophthalmologist in various insurance companies from 2008 to 2010. Since 2025, Dr. Kalmakhelidze has been a valued member of the medical team at Cito Medical Center.
