Manana Kvartskhava is a gastroenterologist who became a member of the International Association of Pancreatologists in 2015 and joined the board of the Georgian Association of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists in 2001. She was awarded the "Doctor-Gastroenterologist" certification by the Ministry of Health in 2001 and played a key role in founding the Veterans' Health Care and Support Association in 1998. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University in 1979.
