Maia Khubua has been the Head of the Department of Academic Process Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, since 2010. She is a specialist in endocrinology, officially recognized by the Ministry of Health in 2008, and holds a Candidate of Medical Sciences degree from Tbilisi State Medical University. Her earlier career includes roles as a Senior Research Associate at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and as a Senior Laboratory Technician at the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine.
