David Chavchanidze served as Vice-Rector at Tbilisi State Medical University from 2006 to 2013 and held the position of Pro-Rector at the State Medical Academy of Georgia from 2005 to 2006. Since 2001, he has been a leading specialist and research associate at the National Urology Center named after A. Tsulukidze. He earned his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 1999 and is an active member of both the European and Georgian Associations of Urologists.
