Program Objectives

The program aims to retrain specialists with relevant competencies who are familiar with modern laboratory testing technologies, methods, principles, and regulatory documentation, and who are capable of organizing, conducting, analyzing, and documenting laboratory testing in accordance with international standards.


Brief Program Description

Within the framework of the program, participants will study:

  • Modern laboratory testing technologies;
  • Laboratory methods, principles, and regulatory documentation;
  • Organization and performance of laboratory testing according to international standards;
  • Analysis and documentation of test results.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe laboratory testing technologies, methods, and principles;
  2. Describe regulatory documentation governing laboratory testing;
  3. Organize laboratory testing - pre-analytical phase;
  4. Conduct laboratory testing - analytical phase;
  5. Analyze and document laboratory test results - post-analytical phase.

The professional retraining program „Medical Laboratory Technician“ was developed in partnership with Medical Center CITO, the European Business Association (EBA), and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG), with the support of USAID (Employer-led Vocational Education Program), based on the Swiss model.

The program is accredited by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE). Upon completion, participants receive a state-recognized certificate.

  2. From the menu, select „Programs“;
  3. Find the desired program in the list (for example, „Healthcare / Medical Laboratory Technician“ or another specific course);
  4. Open the program and click „Register“;
  5. Enter your personal details and confirm the application.
