Program Objectives
The program aims to retrain specialists with relevant competencies who are familiar with the structure of a clinical laboratory, laboratory cycle processes, biosafety, laboratory technologies and methods, quality control, laboratory information systems, ISO 15189, Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), and ethics of laboratory medicine.
Brief Program Description
Within the framework of the program, participants will study:
- The structure of a clinical laboratory;
- Laboratory cycle processes (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical);
- Technologies, methods, quality control, biosafety, laboratory information systems, ISO 15189, Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), and ethics of laboratory medicine used in clinical laboratories. In addition, they will study the set of processes that constitute laboratory testing.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Describe processes within a clinical laboratory (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases);
- Manage laboratory testing processes and quality control;
- Recognize critical laboratory values and respond appropriately within the scope of professional competence.

The program is accredited by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE). Upon completion, participants receive a state-recognized certificate.

- Visit the platform;
- From the menu, select „Programs“;
- Find the desired program in the list (for example, „Healthcare / Medical Laboratory Nurse“ or another specific course);
- Open the program and click „Register“;
- Enter your personal details and confirm the application.

- To register, you will need your personal identification number and contact information;
- If you cannot find a Cito program in the list, use the following filter: Educational Institution → „Medical Center Cito“;
- Make sure to enter your phone number correctly, so that we can contact you if needed.
